Kent City volleyball had to make the painful realization that its season is no longer. 
The Eagles fell to Grand Rapids West Catholic in four games on Thursday in the Division 3 district finals, 25-13, 24-26, 25-13, 25-12.
Leading Kent City was Cailynn Hartzell with 20 assists and 11 digs. Kaden Perkins finished with two aces and 10 digs while Maddie Geers had nine kills, 10 digs and one block.
Denyle Bonter had five kills, Hannah Stellini had 13 digs and Maddy Mitchel had one block for Kent City (29-13-2).
