The Grant boys’ basketball team held on to defeat Newaygo 73-66 on Tuesday night.
The Tigers led by 10 points at halftime before Newaygo cut its deficit to 52-49 through three quarters of play.
The Lions were paced by Caris Nelson with 17 points and six assists while Blake Kerr added 12 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Josiah Long contributed by scoring 10 points.
