ALLENDALE – The Mona Shores girls basketball team clawed back to take down Allendale with a 38-28 win on Friday evening.

The Sailors were behind 22-14 after the first half, but went on a 24-6 scoring run to destroy the deficit.

Katie Phillips led with 14 points, while Khaleeya Cook and Maddie Russell scored six points apiece. Logan Clausen chipped in five points.

Mona Shores (1-1) will be at home on Tuesday against Grand Haven.
