KENT CITY – The Newaygo boys basketball team remained perfect in the CSAA Conference with a win against rival Kent City on Friday.
Newaygo topped Kent City, 60-54.
Blake Kerr led the way with 19 points and eight rebounds. Caris Nelson scored 15 points and had six assists, while Logan Klomp netted 11 points. Jarryn Schmitt pulled down seven rebounds and Ethan Reyburn snagged four steals.
Newaygo (5-2, 3-0) will be at home on Tuesday for a conference matchup against Grant.
Kent City (1-4, 1-1) will travel to Morley-Stanwood on Tuesday.
