MUSKEGON – The Ravenna bowling team struck out in a match against Oakridge on Wednesday.

The girls were handed their first loss of the season, 16.5-13.5. Taylor Nutt tossed games of 189 and 163, while Alison Phillips had a game of 146. Emma Herremans and Kendra Denhof each threw a game of 129.

The boys were edged out, 17-13. Caleb Jonas had a game of 194 and Matt Anton added games of 161 and 176. Josiah Kantola chipped in games of 161 and 171. Brent Radford had a game of 153.

The girls fall to 5-1 and the boys are now 3-3. 

Ravenna will be at Stixx Lanes on Monday against Mason County Central.

Oakridge will face Fremont at Northway Lanes on Monday.
