The Holton softball team won its own invitational on Saturday, defeating Chippewa Hills 10-9 and Tri County 8-2.

In the game against Chippewa Hills, Kennedy Greene totaled three hits while Ryann Robins and Abby Fowler each had two hits.

In the win over Tri County, Fowler picked up the win while allowing just two hits.

Greene finished with three hits including a double and a triple while Robins had two hits including a home run.

REETHS-PUFFER GOES 1-2 – The Reeths-Puffer softball team defeated Lowell 6-3 but fell 13-1 to Bay City Western and 7-0 to Rockford on Saturday.

Caitlynn Duffey toaled 13 strikeouts on the day on the mound for the Rockets while Kaylee Jones led the Rockets offense with four hits total on the day.

OAKRIDGE 5-7, GRAND HAVEN 4-3 – Brooklyn Galdeen picked up the win in Game 1, allowing four runs on eight hits while striking out three.

Offensively, Hayden Ruel had two hits while Jasmine Pastor had two hits and one RBI.

In Game 2, Kaelinn Jozsa pitched a complete game, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out two.

Ruel totaled two hits yet again while Delaney Ruel had two hits and one RBI.

The Eagles are now 24-1 overall on the season.
