GRAND RAPIDS – Ryan Opsommer and Jonathon Pittman turned in strong performances and helped the Mona Shores boys basketball team defeat Grand Rapids West Catholic, 66-38, at the Cornerstone University Holiday Tournament on Saturday.

Opsommer led the attack with 19 points and four assists, while Pittman posted a double-double of 14 rebounds and 12 points. Jordan Bledsoe added 12 points and Milo Barangans scored 11.

Mona Shores (6-1) will open up OK Conference-Green play at Reeths-Puffer on Friday.
