GRANT – The Ravenna boys basketball team put in 32 minutes of solid basketball on Friday night and defeated Grant 62-57.

The teams were tied at 18-all after the first quarter, but the Bulldogs pulled ahead from that point and earned the victory.

“We saw what four quarters of clean, disciplined basketball looked like tonight,” said Ravenna coach Courtney Kemp. “Clean defense and offensive execution were the difference for us. The type of offensive balance we have been seeking in this early season.”

Chase Thomas led the Bulldog attack with 15 points, while Carter Schullo and Wyatt Young each added 11 points. Dylan May scored 10 points and Caleb Forsythe chipped in seven points. Blake Homoly put up six points for the Bulldogs.
