Vanderwest leads Kent City boys to victory over Morley-Stanwood

MORLEY – Aaron Vanderwest led the Kent City Eagles boys basketball team to a CSAA victory over Morley-Stanwood on Tuesday night.

Vanderwest poured in 22 points, pulled down five rebounds and dished out three assists as the Eagles defeated the Mohawks, 53-45.

Tanner Carlson followed with seven assists and six points, while Kayden Kamanu added seven rebounds, six points, four blocks and three steals. 

Kent City (2-4, 2-1) will be at home on Thursday against Holton.
