The Fremont boys’ basketball team outscored Montague by a 13-4 margin during overtime to beat the Wildcats 52-43 on Friday night in West Michigan Conference action.
The Packers trailed 10-9 at the end of the first quarter, led 24-20 at halftime and had a 33-32 lead going into the final stanza before Montague forced overtime.
Montague was paced by Isaiah Atchinson and Paul Olson with 11 points apiece while Kellen Francis scored nine points.
The Wildcats fall to 5-5 on the season and 1-4 in league play.
