GRAND RAPIDS – The Fruitport Calvary Christian girls basketball team broke their winless streak with a win over Grand Rapids Wellspring Prep on Wednesday.
The Eagles maintained the momentum throughout and earned the first victory, 30-21.
Liberty LaBrene led Calvary with eight points, followed by Ella Dykman with seven points. Cassie Dodd put up five points.
Fruitport Calvary Christian (1-6, 1-1) will return to conference on Friday at Muskegon Catholic.
