PORT HURON – The Muskegon Community College Jayhawk men found the going very difficult on  Friday against highly ranked Macomb Community College.

When it was all said and done, Macomb, the national runner-up from a year ago, had a 107-47 victory over the Jayhawks in the St. Claire Community College tournament.

Muskegon was plagued by 11 first-half turnovers that Macomb turned into points. By the end of the opening half, MCC trailed 52-19. Macomb shot 68 percent from the field in the opening half.

The second half wasn’t much better as Macomb had a 55-28 scoring advantage.

Jadakiss Lewis led the Jayhawks (4-8) with 12 points.

In today’s final game of the tournament, the Jayhawks will take on host St. Claire CC.
