Noah Stewart, a former North Muskegon standout and member of the University of Michigan’s national championship team announced he is entering the transfer portal.

Stewart, a 6-7, 290-pound offensive lineman, saw limited playing time during his days at Michigan. He was a walk-on at Michigan who appeared in five games in four seasons.

On Saturday, Stewart announced his intentions on social media:

“These past four years have been nothing but a dream come true for me and I would like to thank all of my coaches and support staff here that helped make it happen, but with saying that I have entered the transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining. Go Blue!”

While at Michigan, Stewart was a two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree (2021-22) and a two-time letterman (2021-22).

In the week of preparation for the 2023 game against Purdue, Stewart was named the Scout Team Offensive Player of the Week for his role. During the season, he saw action on special teams against East Carolina and was in for several snaps at right tackle against Indiana back in October.

Stewart, while at Michigan, was enrolled in the School of Literature, Science and the Art, majoring in Economics.

He was the first Wolverine to manage Type 1 diabetes while playing.
