MUSKEGON – The Orchard View girls basketball team put away Hesperia, 40-16, on Tuesday evening.

The Cardinals led by three points after the first half, but fired off a 26-5 scoring run in the second half to secure the win.

Cambrie Hardy led OV with nine points, five rebounds and two steals, while Kadence Day added eight points, four steals and two rebounds. Payten Bleich posted eight points, five steals and four assists. Elixis Scott chipped in eight rebounds and five points.

Orchard View (4-8, 0-5) will host Whitehall on Saturday.

Hesperia (3-10, 0-6) will be at home for WMC-Rivers play against Holton on Saturday.
