FREMONT – The Ravenna bowling teams went 1-1 against Fremont on Wednesday.

The girls (10-1) cruised to a 28-2 victory, while the boys (7-4) were handed a 22-8 loss.

Kendra Denhof led the Bulldogs’ girls squad with games of 229 and 139. Emma Herremans tossed games of 192 and 163, while Taylor Nutt added 175 and 169.

Joel Kantola rolled a 206 for the boys and Josiah Kantola had a 189 and 167. Caleb Jonas chipped in 179 and 177.

The Packers’ Sophia Romine and Annika Yuhasz led the girls with games of 173 and 151, respectively. Ashton Yuhasz posted solid games of 248 and 218, while Kaden Johnson tossed 233 and 218. Luke Stitt tossed a career-high game of 223.

Ravenna will host Oakridge on Monday.

Fremont will be at Northway Lanes to face Orchard View on Monday.
