FRUITPORT – The Fruitport boys basketball team came out sluggish and fell to Allendale in another OK-Blue loss on Friday evening.

The Trojans only scored nine points in the opening half and never recovered and lost, 74-41. Allendale led 32-9 at the half.

“A tough start set the tone for the game tonight,” said Fruitport head coach Steve Erny. “We will get back to work and look forward to the opportunity to bounce back.” 

Ryan Bosch led the Trojans with 10 points, while DayDay Williams and Grade Anspach added nine and six points, respectively.

Fruitport (4-7, 0-4) will travel to Grand Rapids West Catholic on Tuesday for a conference contest.
