Free throws were a key to victory on Tuesday night in Holton’s 39-33 win over Lakeview.

The Red Devils were 15-for-22 from the charity stripe and that helped seal the victory.

Holton trailed 21-20 at halftime, but finished strong by going on a 19-12 second-half run.

Ryann Robins posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Aubrey Goyings had 11 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Abbie Fowler chipped in with seven points, five steals and five assists for the Red Devils.

Holton improved to 10-3 overall on the season and will play Hesperia on Thursday in a rivalry game.
