LUDINGTON — Spring Lake’s swimming and dive team cruised past Ludington in a non-conference win, 111-69.

The Lakers swam to 19 personal record swims and won 8-of-12 events and also won all three relays, 200 medley (Noah Fletcher, Fischer Halsey, Johnny Wachter and Kyle Eacker in 1:49.38), 200 free (Noah Fletcher, Alex Strauss, Kyle Eaker and Johnny Wachter in 1:33.41), and the 400 free 3:37.19 (Noah Fletcher, Alex Strauss, Graham Porter and Johnny Wachter).

Lucas Williams won the 200 free in 2:06.93 and 100 free in 54.44. Also taking first place was Graham Porter in the 200IM in 2:20.72, Lando Mendoza in the 500 free at 5:56.14, Noah Fletcher in the 50 free at 22.77, and in the 100 Breast Alex Strauss at 1:07.82.

“Tonight, we swam with a lot more energy than we did Tuesday,” said Spring Lake coach Michael Holman said. “It was also great to see guys step it up in new events and see them step out of their comfort zones in other events and be challenged. Overall, a good team win.”

Spring Lake is 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the OK Rainbow Division.
