The Fruitport boys’ basketball team played competitively for one quarter, but then the game got away against Holland Christian as they fell 70-40.
The Trojans trailed 14-13 after the opening quarter, but were down 34-17 at halftime and 56-29 heading into the final quarter.
DayDay Williams led Fruitport with 19 points while Hudson Hazekamp and Ryan Bosch each scored six.
Holland Christian nailed 12 3-point baskets.
