MUSKEGON – The Oakridge boys basketball team routed Morley-Stanwood, 72-36, in non-conference action on Tuesday night.

Peyton Ruel and Brody Jennings held the hot hand with three 3-pointers as the raced out to a 24-9 first-quarter lead. The Eagles rolled into halftime with a 41-25 lead.

Not only were the Eagles firing on offense, their defense played tight and only allowed Morley-Stanwood to score 11 second-half points.

Ruel ended the evening with 22 points, including six three-pointers, and seven assists. Evan Jozsa threw in 12 points and nine rebounds, while Bryson Stevenson posted 10 points, six rebounds and four assists. Jennings scored nine points and Evan Miller chipped in eight points and four assists. 

Oakridge (12-5, 5-3) will host Ludington for WMC-Lakes action on Thursday.
