WYOMING – The Calvary Christian girls basketball team couldn’t complete a comeback in a tough 44-43 Alliance League loss against Wyoming Lee on Tuesday night.

The Eagles were down 23-14 after halftime, but battled back to cut the deficit and trailed, 29-28, going into the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, the Eagles couldn’t get the upper hand to escape with the victory.

Ella Dykman led the Eagles with 14 points and Sophea Ghezzi added 12 points. Liberty LaBrenz and Cassie Dodd scored six points apiece.

Calvary Christian (3-12, 1-6) will be at home against Byron Center Zion Christian on Friday for a conference game.
