The Newaygo boys’ basketball team dropped a close contest to White Cloud, 60-57, on Friday night.
The Lions were down by four points after the first quarter, but led at halftime before relinquishing their advantage during the second half.
Blake Kerr paced Newaygo with 18 points and nine rebounds, while Josiah Long added 15 points and Caris Nelson chipped in with 10 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
