Ravenna’s girls lay claim to the GMAA bowling championship

MUSKEGON – The Ravenna bowling team had a solid showing at the GMAA championships on Wednesday at Northway Lanes.

The girls claimed the title with a win over Oakridge in the finals, while the boys missed the semifinal cut and finished in fifth place.

Taylor Nutt came in second in singles with games of 189 and 181. Kendra Denhof had games of 189 and 159. Emma Herremans threw games of 134 and 134.

Matt Anton finished third with games of 234 and 206, while Caleb Jonas tossed games of 179 and 225. Josiah Kantola chipped in games of 172 and 151.
