Jaxson Whitaker scored 31 points and pulled down six rebounds to propel the Reeths-Puffer boys’ basketball team to their 15th win of the season, 67-64, over Holland.

The Rockets led 16-10 at the end of the opening quarter, 34-30 at halftime and 49-43 through three quarters of play.

Brayden Mitchelson added 16 points, three assists and four steals for Reeths-Puffer while Marvin Moore scored 13, including four fourth-quarter free throws to preserve the lead.

The Rockets played without 6-8 Travis Ambrose, who was feeling a bit under the weather and was given the night off.

The Rockets are now 15-1 overall, 9-0 in O-K Green Conference play. They will host Muskegon in their next contest.
