HOLLAND – The Mona Shores girls soccer team held off West Ottawa, 1-0, on Monday evening.
Shay Norden scored the lone goal with an assist from Lilly Houle. Kylie Dusenberry, Addison Fisher, Emma Anderson and Amelia Coffin gave strong defensive efforts to help keep West Ottawa off the scoreboard.
Mona Shores (3-0) will travel to state powerhouse Hudsonville on Tuesday.
