Muskegon Heights falls behind early in regional final loss to Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart

BALDWIN – The Muskegon Heights boys basketball team fell to Sacred Heart, 47-30, in the Division 4 regional final on Thursday evening.

The Tigers fell behind 12-2 after one quarter and 21-9 at halftime.  The teams played the third quarter even with 17 points each.

Cartier Vance led the Tigers with 10 points, while Jamarion Taylor and LaNard Gordon each added six points.

Muskegon Heights finished the season with a record of 6-12. Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart will take its 24-2 record into next week’s quarterfinal game at Houghton Lake against Maple City Glen Lake.
