The Ravenna softball team opened the season with a pair of wins against Fremont on Tuesday night.

The Bulldogs blanked Fremont 10-0 in the opener, then cruised to a 10-1 win in the nightcap.

In the first game, Riley Homoly paced Ravenna with a double and triple, while Emma Herremans and Emily Postema each had a single and double.

Reese Herremans and Natalie Rosel each chipped in with a pair of singles.

Addison Gillard pitched the win in the opener, allowing two hits while striking out four batters.

During game two, Postema paced the Bulldogs with a double and two singles while Sydney Morrissey had three singles.

Kendra Denhof chipped in with two singles and Herremans hit a double.

Rosel tossed her first-ever varsity victory, giving up three hits while walking two batters and striking out six.
