Byard turns in a four-hit game as North Muskegon goes 1-1 at Lakeshore Stevensville baseball round robin

STEVENSVILLE – TJ Byard was the man for North Muskegon in their baseball win over Lakeshore Stevensville on Saturday.

Byard tallied four hits in the Norse’ 8-1 win over host Stevensville in their second game of the round robin tourney.

North Muskegon was led by Ryan Delora on the mound in the win. He struck out seven and allowed five hits. Kylan Nielsen came in at relief and had one strikeout.

Logan Slimko had two hits including a triple, two runs and three RBI. Nielsen finished with two hits and two RBI at the plate.

The Norse fell to Lakeview, 15-2 in their opener.

Ben Meyers hit a solo home run for North Muskegon and Ryan Delora had an RBI double.

North Muskegon will be at home on Tuesday for a doubleheader against Hart.
