FREMONT – The Fremont girls soccer team. led by Mia Clemence, dominated Shelby, 8-0, in a West Michigan Conference match on Wednesday evening.
The Packers outshot the Tigers, 17-2.
Mia Clemence led the Packers with a hat trick and three assists. Maddie Mater added a pair of scores and an assist, while Taylor DeKuiper, Riley Chase and Grace Evans each scored a goal.
Anna Norris and Dayanara Arellano each chipped in assists.
Hallie Snyder posted the shutout in the net with two saves. The Tigers’ Biloxi Lee made nine saves.
Fremont (7-0, 5-0) will visit Whitehall on Thursday for a WMC Lakes game.
Shelby (4-5-1, 1-3-1) travels to Howard City Tri-County on Friday.
