MUSKEGON – The Mona Shores Sailors, led by Eddie Kuznar, won Wednesday’s OK-Green golf jamboree at Muskegon Country Club.

Mona Shores shot a 166 and that was good enough for seven-stroke victory over runner-up Zeeland West. Holland was third with a 174 and Reeths-Puffer was fourth at 182.

Kuznar, a sophomore, carded a nine-hole total of 36 to capture individual honors. Lucas Dethloff checked in with a 41 and Josiah Bement had a 42. Rounding out the Sailors’ top scorers were Cooper Nellis and Kaidyn Berghuis with a 47.

The Rockets were led by Dylan Panozzo at 42. He was followed by Kristian Brown at 43, Ayden Waggoner with a 48 and Ayden Hartzell at 49.

“Dylan and Kristian both played well tonight,” said Reeths-Puffer coach Matt Pallett. “It is great to see them finish in the top ten individually in the last two league events. Even better is their best golf is still yet to come.”
