HOLLAND – The Mona Shores girls’ soccer team blanked Holland 8-0 in an OK-Green rout on Tuesday.
The Sailors led 5-0 at halftime.
Shay Norden and Lilly Houle led the Sailors with three goals apiece. Ella Kinney and Kylie Dusenberry each chipped in a goal.
The backline of Emma Anderson, Amelia Coffin, Mal Hogston and Makenna Oneka made a strong effort to turn away anything the Dutch sent their way.
Goalkeeper Jersey VanderWall posted her fourth shutout of the season.
Mona Shores (5-1-1 overall, 2-0-1 OK-Green) will be at home on Thursday for conference play against Wyoming.
