Mona Shores produces four second-half goals, overcomes Zeeland West in soccer

NORTON SHORES – The Mona Shores girls soccer team overcame a first half deficit to take down Zeeland West, 4-1, in an OK-Green matchup on Thursday evening.

The Sailors were down 1-0 at the half, but buckled down and limited the Dux to just one shot.

Shay Norden led the Sailors with a pair of goals, while Olivia Naylor and Addison Fisher added a single goal. Ella Kinney and Norden were credited with assists.

Annie Zanbon, Emma Anderson, Mal Hogston, Ava Freye and Kylie Dusenberry were credited with solid overall play.

Mona Shores (9-1-1, 5-0-1) will travel to Zeeland East on Tuesday for another league match.
