NORTON SHORES – The Mona Shores baseball team split an OK-Green doubleheader with Holland on Thursday evening.

The teams continued a suspended game in the opener and the Sailors fell, 4-2. The Sailors bounced back in Game 2 and won, 8-4.

In Game 1, Jaden Thomas gave up one hit and struck out six batters.

Trevor Cunningham allowed eight hits, three runs and struck out nine in the nightcap. 

At the plate, Hunter Krueger had two hits, one run and an RBI, while Jayden Ammeraal added one hit and scored two runs. Eli Habetler was hit by three pitches and scored a run.

Mona Shores (8-4, 6-3) hosts Grand Haven on Saturday for a doubleheader.
