HOLTON – The Muskegon Catholic Central baseball team earned a sweep of a doubleheader over Holton on Friday.

The Crusaders breezed to a 15-0 win in the opener and took the second game, 6-1.

Croix Klint and Casey Hanson combined to allow just one hit in three innings in the opener.

Jacob Lyonnais had two hits and four runs, while Bryan Convertini and Dewey Modaff each added two hits. 

In the nightcap, the Crusaders topped the Red Devils with solid pitching.

Owen and Jacob Lyonnais combined on the mound to lead the Crusaders. They allowed three hits.

Owen Lyonnais had two hits and two RBI. Convertini chipped in two hits, while Modaff and Bode Zygmuntowski scored two runs.

Muskegon Catholic Central (10-2) will be at home for a doubleheader against Wyoming Lee on Tuesday.

Holton will visit Merrill next Friday for a doubleheader.
