The Pentwater Falcons got a first-hand look at a tough Marion baseball team on Monday and the results was a doubleheader sweep.

Marion on the first game, 17-0, and came back in the nightcap, 16-1.

Pentwater received 4.1 innings of pitching by Malichi Bigsby, who was relieved by Brody Austin. Bigsby and Jonny Arnouts each had a hit.

In the second game, Arnouts started the game with a bunt single, but was stranded. Austin singled in the fourth and scored the  Falcons’ only run when Kaleb Brown doubled.

Pentwater travels to Bear Lake on Thursday.
