CALEDONIA – The Mona Shores girls lacrosse team fell to Caledonia, 16-3, in league action on Wednesday.

This was the second game in two days for the Sailors.

“It’s tough sometimes to have back-to-back games,” said Mona Shores coach Chip Vasquez. “The season is so short and I feel like we lose out on practice time between games.”

Emma Reelman, Cambree Bowen and Lainee Carmean each scored a goal for the Sailors.

“It was a dominant performance from Caledonia tonight,” Vasquez said. “Give them a ton of credit. They controlled the draw circle, which controls the game.”

Mona Shores (4-6, 3-3) hosts Grand Haven on Friday.
