Whitehall and Western Michigan Christian each earned a victory in a non-conference doubleheader on Thursday.

Western Michigan Christian won the opener 12-8 before Whitehall bounced back to claim the nightcap, 7-1.

In Game 1, Alex Wagenmaker had two hits and Jack Sipe had two RBI to lead the Warriors. Quint Menefee was the winning pitcher for WMC.

Ethan DeShong started for Whitehall and allowed three runs on two hits in just 2/3 innings pitched. Myles Welch tossed 4 1/3 innings of relief, allowing three runs on four hits.

Brock Morningstar paced the Vikings with two hits and two RBIs while Eli Winters had a hit and three RBIs.

Nolan Taranko earned the victory in Game 2 for Whitehall, allowing a run on two hits while striking out four batters in seven innings.

Nate Betz had a hit and two RBIs, while Kyle Stratton, Ryne Christensen and Winters each added a hit and an RBI.
