MUSKEGON – Maddie Clark had a day to remember at the plate for the Oakridge Eagle softball team on Wednesday.

Clark belted four home runs and drove in nine runs in a doubleheader sweep over Kenowa Hills.

Kelcey Osborne also had a strong performance with a home run and 10 RBI on the night. 

The Eagles swept Kenowa Hills, 18-3 and 17-1.

Kylee Willea gave up just two hits and struck out seven batters in the opener.

Clark led the offense with a single, two homers and six RBI, followed by Osborne with a single, double, home run and seven RBI. Gracie Willea added three singles and an RBI.

In the nightcap, Osborne and Kylee combined to allow just one hit and struck out five.

Clark hit two more homers and had three RBI. Kaelinn Jozsa chipped in two singles and two RBI, while Osborne had a single, a double and three RBI.

Oakridge (26-9, 10-0) will host rival Orchard View for the pre-district on Tuesday.
