WYOMING – The Mona Shores baseball team shut out Wyoming with an 11-0 rout in OK-Green play on Thursday.

Nathan Opfermann got the start on the mind and allowed just one hit and struck out two batters. Hayden Smith had three strikeouts in relief.

Brady Recknagel knocked out his first career homer and had three hits with four runs scored. Jayden Ammeraal threw in two hits and two runs, while Hunter Krueger added two hits, two runs and three RBI. Zack Keessen had two hits, two runs and an RBI. Ethan Ring chipped in two hits and two RBI.

Mona Shores (13-4, 9-3) will take part in the GMAA Tournament on Saturday.
