The Newaygo football team dropped their second game of the season on Friday night, falling to Big Rapids 41-20.
Blake Kerr went 11-for-18 passing for 112 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions.
Hunter Yearsovich caught three passes for 61 yards while Henry Wood had three receptions for 26 yards. Julian Guarjardo had a 5-yard touchdown catch.
The Lions were led on the ground by Porter Slominski with 85 rushing yards on 18 carries with two touchdowns.
Luis Alvarez paced the Newaygo defense with eight tackles.
The Lions are now 5-2 on the season and 3-1 in league play. They will face Lakewood next Friday night.
