HOLLAND – The Spring Lake girls basketball team kicked off their OK-Black schedule with a bang on Friday.
The Lakers played stout defense and forced 19 turnovers in a 42-19 rout over Holland.
Ellie Wrona led all scorers with 15 points. Mia Theune and Kloe George added nine and six points, respectively.
Spring Lake (4-2, 1-0) travels to Grant on Wednesday.
