KENT CITY – The Kent City Eagles dominated the opening half and held off Montague for a 49-24 victory Friday night.

Kent City (12-4) outscored the Wildcats 34-10 in the first half and held onto the margin in a low-scoring second half.

Brooke Skrabis scored a game-high 10 points and had two steals to lead a balanced Eagle attack. Kenzy Freeland had eight points and six rebounds, Alyssa Miller had eight points and two steals, and Laynee Hoffman added four points, six rebounds and five steals. Hailey Kamphuis, Milah Mollien, and Ellie Hansen each added five points.

Addie Peterson scored eight points to pace Montague.
