NEWAYGO – The Newaygo boys basketball team was handed a 75-51 CSAA-Red loss by Big Rapids on Thursday evening.
Big Rapids took the lead early and held off any scoring push by the Lions.
Isaiah Miedema led the Lions with 13 points, while Blake Kerr and Ethan Reyburn chipped in 11 points apiece.
Newaygo (7-12, 4-5) travels to Central Montcalm on Monday.
