Newaygo’s basketball season ends at the hands of Big Rapids, 74-42

NEWAYGO – The Newaygo boys basketball team was handed a tough 74-42 loss to Big Rapids in the Division 2 district opener on Monday evening.

The Lions’ Hunter Yearsovich scored 13 points and Isaiah Miedema chipped in 10.

Newaygo wrapped up the season with a 9-14 record.
