MUSKEGON — Ludington’s baseball team dropped a tough 6-5 game to North Muskegon in the Lakes 8 Activities Conference at Marsh Field in Muskegon on Friday evening.

Nathan Dillehay was the starting pitcher on the hill for the Orioles, throwing six innings and giving up three earned runs on 10 hits while striking out three.

Jonny Weinert took the loss for Ludington, giving up two runs on two hits in 1/3 of an inning.

Stephen Weinert led the offense for the Orioles going 1-for-2 with a double, two walks and one RBI.

Ludington had a 5-2 lead going into the seventh inning.

The Orioles dropped to 12-7 overall and 7-1 in the conference.
