Brooke Heusted had 19 points and 10 rebounds to help Morley-Stanwood overcome an early deficit and pound Hesperia 58-28 Thursday in Central State conference action.
The Mohawks trailed 10-6 after one quarter, then took the lead with a 15-7 second quarter edge. Morley-Stanwood lowered the boom by outscoring the Panthers 37-11 in the second half.
Lindsey Veersma added 11 points, four steals and three assists for the winners. Marissa Frye led Hesperia with nine points and five steals.
