Hunter Broersma and Deandre Oakes-Owens scored 20 points apiece to lead the Mona Shores boy’s basketball team to a 73-67 win over Grand Rapids Union Friday in O-K Black Conference action.
The Sailors improved to 6-9 overall and 2-5 in the league.
Mona Shores used a 17-0 run in the first five minutes of the fourth quarter to take control.
Broersma added 10 rebounds in the winning effort. Kobe Burse added 14 points and seven rebounds.
