The Fruitport volleyball team cruised past Spring Lake in three straight sets on Thursday night in the Class B district semifinals at Orchard View High School.
The Trojans won with service scores of 25-15, 25-12, and 25-13.
Katie Veihl led the Trojans with nine digs, six kills, two blocks and two aces, while Kelsey Schultz added 12 digs. Rachel Paulsen chipped in with five kills and two digs for Fruitport
The Lakers were led by Olivia Grimmer and Jenna Core with four kills apiece, while Grimmer led defensively with 18 digs and Caitie Estep chipped in with 12 assists.
The Trojans will face Montague on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at Orchard View in the Class B district finals.
