Fruitport Calvary Christian cruises to volleyball victory over league foe Wellspring Prep

GRAND RAPIDS – The Fruitport Calvary Christian volleyball team bagged an Alliance League victory over Wellspring Prep on Thursday.

The Eagles cruised in three sets, 25-13, 25-15 and 25-11.

Marissa Tyler led the way with 24 assists, seven aces, two kills and two digs while Ella Dykman chipped in 13 kills, five aces and three blocks. Sarah Deuby had five aces, four kills and a dig. Brooke Trumbull threw in three kills and a pair of aces.

Calvary Christian (9-6, 1-1) will see more conference action when it hosts Muskegon Catholic on Tuesday.
