The Muskegon Catholic Central boys basketball squad dominated Kent City Algoma Christian 80-32 on Wednesday in the Class D district semifinals.

The Crusaders set the tone by taking a 22-7 advantage in the first quarter. They extended that lead to 41-19 at the halftime and had a 69-28 advantage heading to the fourth stanza.

Four players scored in double figures for MCC led by LaTommy Scott with 14 points.

AJ Johnson added 12 points for the Crusaders while, Andre Watson II added 11 and Nick Morgenstern poured in 10.

Muskegon Catholic Central advances to the Class D district title game and will face Ellington Academy on Friday at home. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
